Learn is the human curriculum: operator training, technician certification, train-the-trainer, and career paths into AI, physical intelligence, and robotics for the regions where we work. A machine without a trained person nearby becomes expensive furniture within a year — and a region that must import every expert forever was never really served.
Learn is a research program because teaching people to live with, run, and mend these machines is as hard and as important as building the machines. A deployment without trained people becomes scrap within a year. So Learn studies how to hand a place not just a machine, but the capability to keep it working — in plain and local languages, on real equipment, not slideware.
The program builds structured paths from first exposure to certified technician, in partnership with local institutions, so the regions where we deploy grow their own experts instead of importing ours forever. It trains trainers, publishes maintenance guides anyone can follow, and designs machines to be fixable by the people who use them.
Learn also connects to The Open Lab's open door: partner researchers, students on the career path, and teams whose own projects paused or failed find a working bench and honest staging for what they bring. Good work deserves a second life, and the people who do it deserve a way in.
Hands-on courses for the nurses, technicians, operators, and maintainers who will live with our systems — in plain and local languages, on real equipment. Shipped with every deployment, so the machine and its people arrive together.
A structured path from first exposure to certified technician in AI, physical intelligence, and robotics, built with partner institutions and feeding both our deployments and the wider industry.
Teaching trainers, publishing maintenance guides anyone can follow, and designing machines to be fixable by their users — so capability spreads and does not bottleneck on us.
A working bench and honest staging for partner researchers, students, and teams whose projects stalled — the human side of The Open Lab's open door.
operator training shipping with every deployment; first certification cohorts with partner institutions.
certification programme standing on its own; train-the-trainer scaled; career paths feeding the wider industry.
regions where we work growing enough of their own experts that our role becomes support, not supply. We label this honestly as a bet, not a promise.
Learn is how capability stays where the machines are. Whether you want to learn or to teach, this is your door.
