A robot is not a mascot. It is a tool with a job. Práxis builds the bodies — carriers, watchers, measuring stations, companions — and lets the task and the person decide the shape. If a cart solves it, we don't build a humanoid.

What this arm is.

Most robotics goes wrong at the first decision: it chases the impressive shape instead of the useful one. Práxis starts from the job — what must be carried, watched, measured, or kept company — and builds the plainest body that does it well, cheaply, and often.

That's why we favour many simple machines over one exquisite one. A hundred cheap, single-purpose devices cost less, fail softer, and can be built by ordinary factories near where they're needed. ATLAS carries. SENTRY watches. CEPHAI reshapes. AEON keeps company. Each masters one thing and works as a team — and not one of them is ever armed.

Why many cheap robots instead of a few advanced ones?
Because they cost less, fail softer, and can be built and repaired near where they're needed. Coverage a force or facility can afford beats one machine it can't lose.
Are any of these robots armed?
No — not one. They carry, watch, measure, and keep company. Force application is never on our platforms; it stays with trained, lawful people.
Why start from the job instead of the shape?
Because a humanoid that does everything adequately fails completely. Utility should drive the body, not fashion. If a cart solves it, we build a cart.
